Picture-Perfect
Friends are friends forever—
ain’t that the danged truth!
We first met Kristi 17 years ago when Brandon was a school principal and Kristi and I were teachers on that same campus. Long story short, we’ve been friends ever since!
We spent several years teaching together, then continued our friendship when she left teaching to pursue her career as a professional photographer. We’ve watched as she’s poured her heart into her family and grown her successful photography business. She’s made going to her ranch for a photo shoot an unforgettable experience involving farm animals in the pictures and her kids tagging along as we’ve tromped through pastures to the perfect sunset spot. She treats her photography as her ministry—her love of family and friends is evident in all that she says and does.
When she told us she could come to North Carolina to take our family pictures, I nearly cried. I knew we were getting quality time with a treasured friend, and I knew we were getting amazing pictures in our most favorite places.
The last couple of days have been some of the most special. We’ve shared stories while drinking coffee on the front porch and we’ve tromped through a grassy field to get the perfect mountain shot.
We are more grateful than ever that God places the most special people in our lives—and we’re more grateful than ever He keeps them there!
