Our Skateboarder

We are incredibly proud of this little guy for earning 4th place in his first-ever skateboarding competition at the 111th Annual Cherokee Indian Fair!

He first took up skateboarding about two years ago when he was just seven years old. Since then, he’s been given hand-me-down boards, he’s bought boards, he’s bought ramps, and he’s jumped just about everything that stands still! This summer, he started taking weekly lessons and his skill level and confidence improved so much!

Today, he took a huge leap and entered his first skateboarding competition. He showed off all his best moves and put his heart into everything he was doing. We were so excited for him when he received fourth place in his age division!

We love helping our kids find that one thing that lights them up. That one thing that comes naturally and from the heart. We love having the family there and cheering from the sidelines. And we love watching them step into who they are and to do what they love!
