Vacation Day

Today we took a vacation day and treated the day as if we were here on a trip!

We slept in late, packed a picnic, and spent the entire day in Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

We opened the sunroof, put down the windows, and listened to our favorite songs.

We saw plenty of bears, elk, and turkeys, and we hiked up a trail to a beautiful waterfall.

And with all these incredible sights and experiences, the best part truly was being together. With the older kids already older, we know how precious these days are and how quickly they go by. We will keep soaking it in and making these memories every chance we get
