Family Football

Sebastian and his fiancée, Jo, are in town this weekend. We celebrated the occasion by all eight of us attending the Western Carolina University Catamount Football “White Out” home opener game today. It ended up being a whole day affair, and we wouldn’t have had it any other way! A sunny start followed by a four-hour lightning delay and a continuation of the game tonight under the stadium lights in the crisp mountain air made for a perfect Saturday.

Experiencing #WhiteOut to #NightOut and a 30-7 win for the Catamounts sure made it great to be in Cullowhee!!

Days like today make us grateful for where we live and the opportunity to embrace our community. To take advantage of all this place has to offer and truly immerse ourselves in the pulse of this town. It was also a picture perfect way to make memories with our family and a reminder that prioritizing time together and opting for experiences over things is always, always the right way to go!
