Date Night

Date night in Downtown Asheville.

Just the two of us.

We chose all the music during the car ride. We ordered appetizers, mocktails, and took our time at dinner. We talked and talked and finished our conversations. We walked hand-in-hand across the street to our favorite gluten-free bakery. And because we’re an old married couple, we stopped at Wal-Mart on our way home for more Halloween decorations.

But the real icing on the cake is the time we spend together. The time we make for each other. The gift of ourselves to one another. That’s the best part!
